Last updated: 31.10.2026

Protecting your personal data matters to us – especially as a fiduciary firm that handles confidential information every day. This privacy policy explains which personal data we process in connection with this website and our services. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, takes the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into account.

2. Visiting this website

This website is delivered via the global network of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit the site, technically necessary data is processed, in particular your IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type, operating system and referrer URL. This data is used solely to deliver the website, ensure its security (e.g. defending against attacks) and fix errors. It is not combined with other data or analysed for advertising purposes.

Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of data protection. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

3. No analytics or tracking

We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) and do not embed third-party content such as Google Fonts, YouTube or map services. Fonts are loaded from our own server. A link to Google Maps only opens Google when you actively click it.

4. Contacting us by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry) to answer your request and any follow-up questions. Our email service is operated by Microsoft (Microsoft 365); data may also be processed in data centres in the EU or the USA.

5. Providing our services

Within a mandate, we process the data required to fulfil the engagement, e.g. accounting, payroll and tax data of our clients and their employees. We use carefully selected software providers (e.g. accounting and payroll software, Microsoft 365) that are contractually bound to data protection as processors. We are subject to professional confidentiality.

6. Disclosure of data

We only disclose personal data where necessary to perform a mandate (e.g. to tax authorities, social insurance institutions, banks or auditors), where we are legally obliged to do so, or where you have consented. Data is never shared for advertising purposes.

7. Disclosure abroad

Personal data is generally processed in Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA). Individual service providers (in particular Cloudflare for hosting this website and Microsoft for email and documents) may also process data in the USA. Data is disclosed to providers certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the Federal Council has recognised an adequate level of data protection, or on the basis of standard contractual clauses recognised by the FDPIC (Art. 16 FADP).

8. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods (in particular 10 years under Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations). Server log data is generally deleted by Cloudflare after a short period.

9. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), two-factor authentication and restrictive access rights.

10. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law you have, in particular, the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing. Please contact info@rosengold-schmuker.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch).

11. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.

In case of discrepancies, the German version of this page prevails.
